About Us & our Accommodation

We are Geraldine and Seán O'Reilly and Eonish Lodge is our home. Eonish is a townland (and former island) and is where many generations of the O'Reilly family have been born, lived and farmed.Our tranquil and peaceful setting is located on the shores of Lough Oughter on Eonish Lake. Eonish was once an island and derives its name from the "Island of Yew Trees". Lough Oughter forms part of the Erne Waterway system which is connected to the Shannon River making it the largest water system in Ireland.

Nearly 30 years ago we started providing accommodation to guests. Over time we have sought to constantly improve the standard of our accommodation. About 10 years ago, we made the decision to upgrade our entire service and build a new purpose built guest house. A lot of planning went into the new house and we offer 4 guest bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The new house was built in the field next door and the original accommodation was turned into self-catering accommodation.

We would like to invite you to stay with us and explore the many quiet country roads and take in the stunning scenery of lakes and woods.

As we are family run business we can offer you the personal touch and also try to accommodate most needs. You can enjoy a good chat with us anytime, or if you would like some pointers and guidance simply ask us and we will be more than happy to help you out.
